"We get out of life what we put into life."
WHAT CAN I EXPECT AT MY SESSION?
1. First, expect to have a great time, because you will! It's OK to be a little nervous at first, but you'll soon relax with Gayelene's easygoing manner and super-creative photography!
2. Plan on arriving 15 minutes early to freshen up, check your outfits, hair and makeup. Gayelene will spend a few minutes with you to find out what kind of portraits you like best. Remember, we want you to have fun-being late will only result in you feeling rushed and less time spent on you.
3. Bring your favorite music. Gayelene has a CD and tape player in the camera room, and she likes a wide variety of music. So bring a CD or tape of your own, or choose from one of hers.
4. Make sure you show Gayelene the kind of portraits you want. Choose your favorite poses from our samples, your yearbook, or from magazines and catalogs.
5. Be sure to wear one of your "inside studio" outfits to the session to save time. It's OK to bring more than the recommended number of outfits if you're not sure what would look best. Bring casual and dress---Gayelene will help you pick the most photogenic ones.
6. Don't forget to dab a little cover-up makeup on those noticeable blemishes. Guys---a fresh shave is a must.
7. Natural hair styles are the best. Way out hair styles will create problems. Taking too much time to continually fix your hair will also create problems. We recommend that you have your hair done before your session and ready to photograph when you arrive. We will not allow any time for rolling, curling, or major adjusting of your hair. If any of these are needed please arrive at least 25 minutes early to avoid delays.
8. Please remember your session fee---we can't photograph you without it! We take cash, checks, Visa or Mastercard.
9. If you're unsure or have questions before or during your session, PLEASE ASK!
